Hi {{first_name | default: 'there'}}!
Three Claude Settings That Changed Everything (And You're Probably Missing Them)
I've been practically living in Claude lately, and this week I just realized, we're all running at maybe 20% capacity. Not because we're not smart enough. But because three tiny settings completely change the game, and almost nobody knows about them.
Let me walk you through what transformed Claude from "nice AI assistant" to "actual work partner I can't live without."
First thing's first: Your data is YOUR data
Head to Privacy / Help improve Claude. Toggle it off. Done.
Look, I get it — we're all about collaboration and making things better together. But your client strategies? Your proprietary workflows? That stays yours. This isn't paranoia, friends. It's professionalism. Five seconds to change, protects years of your genius.
Now here's where things get spicy: Skills
Claude's new Skills feature is basically like teaching your assistant your exact way of working — without writing a single line of code. These folders remember your brand guidelines, your Excel preferences, your specific workflows.
Think about it: Instead of explaining your formatting rules every. single. time? Claude already knows. Instead of uploading the same brand guide again and again? It's already there, waiting.
The magic? Claude only loads what it needs, when it needs it. Stays fast, stays smart. I'm watching this space closely — the setup's still a bit clunky, but mark my words: this will completely change how we work with AI. I keep my eye out for this - check it under Settings / Capabilities / Skills and see Anthropic's intro here.
The third game-changer: Connectors
Last one: Settings / Connectors. Add Google Drive and Canva. Boom.
This one move killed about 80% of my copy-paste dance. No more downloading just to upload. No more tab Olympics. Claude reaches right into your workspace and grabs what it needs. Suddenly it's not another tool to manage — it's part of your actual workflow.
Here's the thing, fellow changemakers: These aren't just nice-to-haves. They're the difference between using Claude as a fancy chatbot and actually multiplying what you can do. Privacy protects your edge. Skills will scale your expertise. Connectors make Claude part of your world, not separate from it.
Why I'm Building a Practice Space (Not Another Content Library)
Speaking of tools and transformation...
Last week I was walking through an orange garden in Calabria when it hit me: we've got so much free advice but still, so challenging when you want to put things in practice.

Btw, why can't we have orange gardens in Switzerland?
Every week brings new features (hello, Claude Skills), new "revolutionary" approaches, new must-have tools. Expert content everywhere. And yet, leaders keep telling me the same three things:
"There's so much out there, I don't know where to start." "I want to grow, but 1:1 coaching feels like too much right now." "I need to find my people — others going through this too."
And this isn't only about AI first mindset. It's your everyday life at work, looking for work, growing to be a better leader.
You know what most membership programs do? Throw more content at you. More videos. More articles. More overwhelm.
But what if you needed less content and more actual practice?
That's why The Change Republic is taking the next step. And I wanted to ask you first, our newsletter readers.
A membership focused on three things: real coaching (actual skill-building, not just tips), AI leadership (practical tools, not theory), and practicing together on real problems with real humans giving real feedback.
Think gym membership for your career. A place to safely mess up, get better, and connect with people facing the same challenges you are.
Virtual community with real meetups too.Because practicing with others? That changes everything.
What would make something like this actually useful for you? I'm genuinely curious — drop me a comment or DM or let me know here. I'm in full learning mode right now, gathering insights to build something that serves you, not just sells to you.
Let's build this together.
