1. The Global Revolution
2. When AI Meets Human Transformation
3. What AI Still Can't Hear @ TEDx
Happy Friday {{first_name | default: 'there'}}!
In case you missed, something remarkable is happening. The International Coaching Federation's latest global study shows that 43% of coaches saw increased demand for coaching services in just the past 12 months. This isn't a trend – it's a global movement. When something grows this fast across cultures and industries, it means coaching is meeting a universal need: helping people handle change, complexity, and leadership challenges. For executives, managers and coming up: team leads as well.
Why now? What I see is that the world of work has fundamentally shifted. Everything is constantly changing at work and in our careers.
We are leading hybrid teams, and facing challenges that didn't exist five years ago. The old command-and-control playbook? It's useless.
Coaching offers something different. It's not about having answers – it's about asking the right questions. When problems keep changing, the ability to think differently matters more than any fixed solution.
Every coaching conversation becomes a space where leaders can experiment with new perspectives.
I see this daily. My coaching clients come in feeling stuck and overwhelmed. Shi(f)t happens to them.
After we work together, they leave with clarity – not because I gave them a roadmap, but because they found their own path through good questions and reflection. The coaching relationship creates a thinking partnership that turns uncertainty into possibility.
If you are a coach, make sure to read this study. And if you are a curious mind, then I can tell you, the world where leaders needed all the answers is gone. Today, the real deal is to know how to find all the answers. Coaching isn't just supporting this shift; it's driving it. With demand for coaching of this size, we're only at the beginning.
When AI Meets Human Transformation
Have I told you already about Maria (name changed)? She is my coaching client and she is rewriting her career story in an unexpected way.
She is a finance controller between jobs, she's using this transition to dig deeper – to understand not just what job she wants, but what she wants to achieve. Finding her purpose became our coaching focus.
Here's where it gets interesting. Between our sessions, Maria uses my AI twin coach to rebuild her CV. She's creating a powerful story that connects all her past positions into one coherent narrative. She practices interviews with the AI, tests responses, refines her story.
The best part? We don't waste our coaching sessions on practical details anymore. She handles CV iterations and interview prep with my AI twin. Our human sessions go deeper. We explore limiting beliefs, transition fears, and her vision for who she's becoming. The AI handles the "what" and "how," while we focus on the "why" and "who."
This hybrid approach changes everything. The AI twin doesn't replace human connection – it amplifies it. Maria gets 24/7 support for practical challenges while our sessions dive into transformation work that only happens between humans.
My AI twin coach is now available for subscription to anyone - the best part is, that a light version has free questions too! It's like having a thinking partner always ready to help you work through challenges or organize your thoughts. I am convinced, that the future of coaching isn't human or AI – it's both, each doing what they do best - for YOU.
What AI Still Can't Hear @ TEDx
In this newsletter, you can read lots of stories on the magic AI does. But have you ever wondered, what is it that AI cannot hear? That’s exactly the topic of my TEDx talk on November 22nd in Zürich.
Honestly, preparing for it has clarified something I've been noticing in all my conversations.
AI misses the music between the words.
When your teenager says "I'm fine" but their shoulders say otherwise.
When a colleague agrees to a deadline but their pause says they're drowning.
When silence says "I love you" or "I need help" without any words at all.
It's everywhere. The tension when someone's name comes up. The energy shift when the real issue surfaces. The glances in a meeting where the actual decision happens. AI can analyze words, tone, even expressions. But it misses what happens in between.
What else do you think AI can’t hear? Hit reply and tell me!
PS: If you are in Zürich on 22nd November, grab tickets now – 60% are gone.
