The Power of Showing Up (Even When It Feels Awkward)
Personal branding. It sounds shiny, polished—and a little intimidating, doesn’t it?
At a recent event in Zug, Switzerland, organized by Women in Digital Switzerland, we flipped the script.
No more “I don’t want to show off.” No more hiding behind “What will people think?” Instead, we got practical, playful, and yes—even brave.
That’s where the B-R-A-N-D Framework comes in. A tool to help you shape your story in a way that feels true to who you are. (Authenticity isn't optional anymore. It’s your edge.)

🧠 Prompt to try in ChatGPT:
- start of the prompt -
“Act as a professional LinkedIn expert specialized on personal branding for corporate professionals. Help me fill out the About section, following these instructions on target audience, elements to use, language.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
While the About section is visible to all my connections on LinkedIn, I would like the section to specifically talk to [ADD YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE – for example recruiters, event organizers etc]. I would like to give the impression to my target audience, that I am [ADD WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO BELIEVE – for example that you are the best suited for a job or to be a speaker at their next event]
The text should be between 1000-1500 characters including spaces.
ELEMENTS:
ROLE – my current role or the role that I want to be associated with [ADD YOUR CURRENT ROLE OR A ROLE YOU ARE MOSTLY EXPERIENCED]
NICHE - my specific expertise or passion that sets me apart [ADD YOUR NICHE]
DIFFERENTIATOR - my ‘superpower’—the thing I bring that few others do in a professional context [ADD YOUR DIFFERENTIATOR]
In my professional life my ASPIRATION – what I want to achieve in my field and my organization is [ADD YOUR ASPIRATION]
You can also use my BACKSTORY - my unique life experience or moment that shaped who I am today [ADD YOUR BACKSTORY]
LANGUAGE:
- The tone of the description should be professional, friendly and free of technical language or jargon.
- It should be a fluid text.
- Do not exaggerate or hallucinate.
- Avoid emojis.
- Avoid words that scream like GenAI wrote them such as delve into, in the realm of, in today’s world, Let’s celebrate, embarked, invaluable, relentless, groundbreaking, endeavour, enlightening, esteemed, shed light etc.
- Avoid humble bragging and focus on the value you are adding”
- end of the prompt -
Play with it. Edit. Re-edit. Then hit publish before the perfectionism kicks in.
You might not have your brand story nailed down... yet.
But showing up with intention? That’s where it begins.

Memory Is Coming—And It’s a Game Changer
Imagine ChatGPT not only responding well—but remembering what matters to you: your goals, your style, your favorite go-to frameworks. 🎯
That’s the promise of ChatGPT’s new feature, Memory, that stores useful information across chats to make responses sharper, more tailored, and more you.
💡 One small catch? If you're in Switzerland (like many of us), you’ll need a little patience. Memory is being rolled out slowly, and it’s not available here yet for Plus and Pro users.
But when it does arrive—wow. Your workflow just got way smoother. Imagine saying:
👉 “Remember that I like all my emails in a friendly–professional tone and structured with bullet points.”
Next time you ask for a follow-up message or a newsletter draft? No need to repeat yourself. It already knows how you like it.
And here’s the cool part: you’re fully in charge. You can ask ChatGPT what it remembers about you, tell it to forget something, or head into settings to manage your memory vault.
Think of it like your own digital Pensieve (yes, Harry Potter fans—you get it 💫). You decide which thoughts get stored, which ones get tossed, and when to start fresh.

Let’s Talk About Mindset (When Everything’s in Motion)
The only constant? You guessed it—change. Whether it’s a pivot, a pause, or an unexpected plot twist, the way we think about change is what shapes how we lead through it.
That’s why I’m thrilled to join EY Zürich’s Professional Women’s Network event on May 6th to kick off our "Let’s Talk" miniseries on Future-Ready Leadership.
This session will zoom in on two core parts of the C-H-A-N-G-E framework:
→ Harnessing Fear (H): how to turn doubt into fuel
→ Networking (N): how to stay connected when everything’s shifting
Expect stories, real-life tools, and practical ways to reframe uncertainty into action—and yes, a little mindset magic.
📍 Where: EY Zürich
📅 When: May 6th
💬 Topic: Mindset in Times of Change
